Our Business

MECALSA has extensive experience in Mass Production Precision Machining according to drawings of metallic and nonmetallic components for steering, engines, chassis, etc. ... for vehicles (trucks, cars, motorcycles, etc.).

Most of our business is dedicated to the Automotive Industry usually as a Tier 2 and Tier 3 supplier, although in some cases as a Tier 1 supplier. We also machine parts for agricultural vehicles and appliances.

The plant is divided intoWorkcells so that semi-finished products are eliminated, the fine tuning and the organization are more effective, the processes are more stable, and identifying opportunities for improvement on these processes is more feasible by focusing improvement on the bottlenecks of each cell.

Vital importance is given to Versatility so that the absence of a person does not prevent production of any part or production in any of the workcells: All of the staff knows every part and process.
