PPE (PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT) AND OTHER PROTECTIVE GEAR

All staff have all the necessary protective equipment as determined by the corresponding Occupational Risk Assessment (clothing, reinforced footwear, glasses, earplugs, and gloves).

Also, the machines have active safety systems that prevent operation if the work area is not isolated.

Proper working conditions are maintained: good lighting, heating, filters for machining mist, ventilation, ample work space, equipment eyewash, and first aid kit. They are also equipped with fire extinguishers and fire alarms.

The machines have EC certification and their external moving parts are identified with tape to protect against getting trapped and hit.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH ANALYSIS

Voluntary medical examinations are conducted annually. The noise levels and air quality are periodically checked.

We have a general accident insurance policy for all employees in addition to the required policies (Social Security).

WASTE (ENVIRONMENT)

Coolant, oils and antioxidants waste are stored in drums for subsequent removal by authorized agents. Likewise, we separate plastic, paper, cardboard, and organic waste for recycling.

Hazardous items are conveniently labeled with the risks they may pose until they are removed.

We properly dispose of used batteries, spent ink cartridges from printers and faxes, etc.
